Joy Wood –
An absolute ‘must have’ book!
I bought this book at an author event. All I can say is thank goodness I did, what a wealth of information it contains. The writer has taken a lot of trouble to ensure that it is clear and concise for the reader. The format of each page is ‘easy-on-the-eye’ with it being spaced out adequately so you aren’t looking at loads of text and can’t see the woods for the trees. I like to flick around informative books (backwards and forwards), and it was simple to identify exactly what I was looking for by the numerous headings. It certainly is a ‘must have’ for anyone venturing into independently publishing their first novel, but also it has invaluable information for those that may already be self-published. I will certainly be recommending it – so it’s a well deserved 5 stars from me.
Maureen Boon –
An excellent resource for all authors considering self publishing.
I have self published two books this year and found this book an excellent guide which steered me away from pitfalls and helped me towards success.

Easy to follow sensible advice.
This excellent book contains clear guidance for anyone who is thinking of self-publishing. I’ve had some experience, but could certainly have done with this before I began. It’s easy to navigate with the helpful chapter headings, and the author’s voice is both sensible and engaging. I shall definitely be referring to it before and during my next independent publishing venture. Invaluable.
Lynne –
A really detailed guide.
This is just what I have been looking for; it provides information on all of the steps to self-publishing. In addition it is particularly helpful in providing tips for useful resources, for example programmes for editing etc. A good buy.
Susan –
Clear, invaluable advice.
With this book, Elizabeth has succeeeded in shedding enormous light on what, to a new boy like me, can seem at first sight a deep and mysterious topic…..Thank you Elizabeth. I will now move onto the others in your series….Peter Keevil

Useful and comforting.
When I self-published last year this was my constant companion. Ducie has a bracing style but knows when to be comforting and reassuring. If there’s a mistake to be made she’ll warn you about it and she gives clear explanations for the times when you have to make decisions. Thoroughly recommend.
